Computer Design

If you are building a regular PC or a gaming PC, the basic design/build is pretty much the same. The difference comes in the quality and capability of the components you choose to put in it. For my "gaming" PC, I will be designing one that will not be too over the top, but will need to run DCS A-10C and the Oculus Rift like a boss! For a ground up build, I will need 12 main components (Case, Power Supply, SSD, Hard Drive, Mother Board, CPU, Optical Drive, Graphics Card, RAM, Internet Modem, Keyboard & Mouse) If you need a good starting point based on your own personal budget, there are a lot of YouTube videos out there to help you. Just do a YouTube search for "$______ Gaming PC Build". (enter your own dollar amount, $500, $1,000, $1,500, etc...)  Personally, I'm shooting to keep mine under $2,000.

There is no way I can go in to teaching you everything there is to know about building a PC. However, you can figure out the basics of everything you need to know on the internet. This 3 part video series by Newegg.com is a great place to start.
